Using HALTE
You may use HALTE only in accordance with applicable law and these terms. You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of information you provide and activity performed through your account.
Location awareness, not safety monitoring
HALTE is a social location-sharing service. It is not an emergency, navigation, employee-tracking or personal-safety service. Locations, times, notifications and availability can be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable. Never rely on HALTE where health, safety, employment or travel decisions require confirmed information.
Your content and conduct
You retain responsibility for profile information, photos, messages and other content you submit. You grant HALTE the limited permission necessary to store, process and display that content to operate the features you select.
You must not impersonate others, harass users, share unlawful or harmful material, probe the service, evade blocks, access another account, automate abusive activity or use HALTE in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
Beta service
HALTE is currently provided for testing and may contain errors, interruptions or incomplete features. Features may change, and access may be limited or withdrawn to protect users or the service.
Account action
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements or serious violations of these terms. You may stop using HALTE and delete your account at any time.
Availability and liability
HALTE is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every item of user-provided information is accurate. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
